I am a PhD candidate in Finance at Columbia Business School.

I am thrilled to announce that I will be joining Emory University's Goizueta Business School as an Assistant Professor of Finance in July 2024.

My research fields include household finance and corporate finance, with a particular interest in the theme of financial distress.

Prior to my PhD studies at Columbia, I held research positions at Columbia Business School, the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. 

I received my undergraduate degree in Economics and Statistics from Carnegie Mellon University. I grew up in Seoul, Korea and Athens, Georgia.
